SET-UP: Plug the cable with the small connector into the small jack in the Roku, plug the other end of that cable into a USB port on the tv.
Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the Roku HDMI port and the other end into a free HDMI port on the tv. Remember which HDMI port on the tv you used. Place the Roku where it can ‘see’ the remote.
Turn on your tv and set the ‘source’ or ‘input’ to the HDMI port you plugged the Roku into. The Roku will turn on with the tv.
Once started it should ask you to select a Wi-Fi network. Select your network and enter your network password. If the choice of networks does not appear, select ‘settings’ on the Roku home page, then select ‘Network’ to select your network. If the Roku does not see your network there may be an issue with your network. Unfortunately, the library is not able to assist you with troubleshooting or repair of your network.
Once connected, you will see the Roku home screen which displays available channels.
Channels available are Netflix and Disney Plus. Select the service you’d like to watch and enjoy!
Available channels are linked to the library account – do not log out of Netflix or Disney Plus, you will not be able to log back in without the password.
Please be sure to return all pieces – Roku stick, remote, two cables and instructions to the library. You must log off of any personal accounts. Roku box must be returned to the Circulation Desk. DO NOT LEAVE IN THE OUTSIDE DROPBOX!
